The Texas football season felt like it began just yesterday yet we are already into October and just days away from the Red River Rivalry. One of the most historic matchups in college football will take place on Oct. 6, at the Cotton Bowl when the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners meet up for the 113th time in their schools’ history. Each and every year these fanbases circle this game on their calendar, and this year ESPN College Gameday will be there to catch it all ahead of the 11 a.m. CT kick off time.
The 19th ranked Longhorns come in 4-1 (2-0) with three straight quality wins against USC, TCU, and at Kansas State.
