Heading into the 2020 offseason, there was a lot to be excited about in terms of who the Texas football program would be returning this fall. Texas will be one of the more experienced and talented teams in the Big 12 during the 2020 college football season.
Texas closed out their run during the 2019 season with an impressive 38-10 win over the No. 11 ranked Utah Utes in the Alamo Bowl. That gave Texas their second win over a top 12-ranked team in a bowl game in the last two years. Texas beat the No. 5 ranked Georgia Bulldogs by the final score of 28-21 in the Sugar Bowl to cap the 2018 season.
