A big day for the 2020 Texas football recruiting class on Dec. 18, the first day of the Early Signing Period, saw them lock down on each of their 16 commitments. Head Texas football coach Tom Herman managed to not let a single commit get away after the decommitment of four-star wide receiver Quentin Johnston, who flipped to the TCU Horned Frogs on Dec. 16. Johnston was a big loss, but Texas at least has time to recover for this recruiting class at wideout.
In terms of the 16 signees that Texas has in store after the initial day of the Early Signing Period, there’s a lot to like.
