The latest name out of the Texas football program to hit the NCAA Transfer Portal is offensive tackle Denzel Okafor. While the to-be redshirt senior lineman wasn’t projected to be a starter for Texas, he was a key cog in the depth if injuries were to start piling up or poor play came about.
Okafor reportedly (Matt Zenitz of AL.com on Twitter) put his name into the transfer portal on March 25. He is the second Texas rising senior offensive linemen and former four-star recruit to put his name into the transfer portal this offseason. The other is JP Urquidez, who is also without a landing spot out of the portal at the moment.
