There are two real candidates among former players out of the Texas football program that could be first round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. The first of which is the former star Texas junior outside linebacker/edge rusher Joseph Ossai, who was really good for this defense over the course of the last two seasons.
And the other candidate among former Longhorns players in the 2021 draft to be a first round pick is the standout former redshirt junior 6-foot-7 and 305 pound offensive tackle Sam Cosmi.
