For a good while, the Texas football program sent a boatload of raw talent to the NFL Draft. That trend slowed a bit during the rough years for Texas under former head coaches Mack Brown and Charlie Strong in the early-to-mid 2010’s. But current Texas head coach Tom Herman could have this program getting back to that top level of sending talent to the NFL Draft year after year.
Texas has a pretty good 2020 NFL Draft class at certain positions. But this likely won’t be the year of the NFL Draft that will break the Texas dry steak for first round picks.
