There looks to be another highly touted class of incoming freshmen coming to the Forty Acres, thanks to a solid job on the recruiting trail by head coach Tom Herman and his retooled staff. The 2020 Texas football recruiting class hauled in a top 10 ranked group in the national class rankings (per 247Sports Team Composite Rankings) for the third straight cycle.
The highest ranked signee in the Longhorns 2020 recruiting class was five-star Salpointe Catholic running back and Tucson, AZ, native Bijan Robinson. As the lone five-star commit/signee in the 2020 Texas recruiting class (outside of defensive end Alfred Collins if you consider the sole 247Sports recruiting ranking), Robinson looks like the immediate future star of this group.
