Getting off to a fast start on the recruiting trail for the 2019 and 2020 classes was a big priority for the Texas football coaching staff. At this point of the 2019 off-season, it feels like the Texas football program was able to accomplish that task for one recruiting cycle but not the other.
The results for the 2020 Texas football recruiting class weren’t great thus far in the off-season. What success head Texas football coach Tom Herman and his staff found came in spurts for the 2020 cycle. Junior Day gave the 2020 class a nice haul, especially along the offensive line.
