The 2020 Texas football recruiting class got a bit of good news despite a dip in the commit department of late. Since the start of spring ball, the results on the recruiting trail for head Texas football coach Tom Herman and Co. were less than stellar. An up and down narrative for Texas football in spring ball also could’ve impacted the recruiting results the past few months.
There were a number of injuries and a rash of transfers that hit the Texas Longhorns football program since the 2019 off-season began. Yet, that did open up the need to add depth to numerous position groups on both sides of the ball.
