Texas Longhorns men’s basketball fell from No. 4 to No. 5 in the latest AP Poll.
That’s despite a rousing win over the Kansas State Wildcats last week, in which the Longhorns leaped out to a respectable lead in the first half, only to maintain it throughout the entirety of their 82-67 win. The Iowa Hawkeyes, however, managed to leap Texas in the latest rankings due to Texas’ last-second loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders last week, in which the Red Raiders bested the Longhorns 79-77 – Texas’ first Big 12 loss of the season.
