Texas DT target Sawyer Goram-Welch decommits from Oklahoma State

Less than a week after the Texas Longhorns offered Longview defensive tackle Sawyer Goram-Welch, the consensus three-star prospect announced his decommitment from the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday.

Goram-Welch took his official visit to Stillwater in early September and then pledged to Oklahoma State in the middle of October. Texas officially entered the 6’4, 278-pounder’s recruitment early in the week, so consider Goram-Welch’s decision a good sign for the Longhorns.

Now the goal will be to get him on campus before the dead period in the hopes of landing a commitment and earning his signature during the early signing period.
