Texas drops to No. 25 in AP Top 25 poll after Red River loss vs. Oklahoma

Despite blowing a 18-point halftime lead in a 55-48 Red River Showdown loss to the Oklahoma Sooners., the Texas Longhorns remain ranked in the latest AP top 25 poll, falling four spots from No. 21 to No. 25.

Texas fell out of the USA Today Coaches Poll, though, after entering the weekend at No. 23.

Despite the heartbreaking fashion in which Texas’ loss to Oklahoma, Steve Sarkisian’s program won’t have much time to lick their wounds with the upcoming schedule sure to pose several more challenges. Next Saturday, Texas will host undefeated and No. 12 Oklahoma State.
