AUSTIN -- Less than two weeks after its debut, the belly rub celebration is no more for the Longhorns, at least on the field.
On Tuesday, Texas senior defensive tackle Chris Nelson, who's recently garnered some attention for rubbing his belly after big tackles, said defensive coordinator Todd Orlando no longer wanted him to perform the celebration on the field to prevent the Longhorns from potentially getting flagged. Nelson said he would still do it on the sidelines.
