Early in the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 3, Texas defensive back Wardell Mack was arrested in Travis County on charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The prosecutor rejected the possession charge but decided to move forward with the DW.. Mack, who redshirted his true freshman season after appearing in just four games, was released on bond, which was listed at $3,000 by the Travis County online records.
