Two of the very best players to come out of the Texas basketball program since the turn of the millennium are also two potential future Hall-of-Famers and bona fide stars in the NBA. Those two former Texas Longhorns are forwards LaMarcus Aldridge and Kevin Durant.
Up to this point, KD spent most of his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. He currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets (although he hasn’t officially played in an NBA game with them yet due to a torn achilles recovery). Meanwhile, Aldridge spent all of his career either with the San Antonio Spurs or Portland Trail Blazers.
