The Texas basketball program is off to a pretty impressive run to begin the 2019-20 regular season. Barring a letdown against the Georgetown Hoyas in the 2K Empire Classic, there’s not much to complain about the results that head Texas basketball coach Shaka Smart produced. Texas sits with a record of 8-1 and they have big wins over the Texas A&M Aggies, Purdue Boilermakers, and Cal Golden Bears to begin the non-conference slate.
Up next for the Texas Longhorns basketball program is one of their tougher tests of the non-conference slate against a non-power conference program.
