Early in the showdown between the Texas basketball program and the Texas A&M Aggies, there seems to be a lot of angst this team is getting out on Dec. 8. This showdown between Texas and Texas A&M reignites the Lone Star Showdown in a profit college sport that actually has something on the line.
The Texas Longhorns basketball program controlled the pace of play early on, and had a double-digit lead for much of the early portion of the first half. Texas A&M came into this game struggling, with a record of 3-4. Meanwhile, the Longhorns are coming out of the gates looking like a borderline top 25 team and carry a record of 7-1.
