The next big decision date to watch for a top target of the 2024 Texas basketball recruiting class is on Aug. 11, with the high-four-star Lexington (SC) shooting guard Cam Scott. The top-ranked recruit out of South Carolina in the 2024 class, according to all the major recruiting services, announced on social media on July 26 that he will make his commitment on Aug. 11 at 1 p.m. CT.
Scott also included his top six schools when he announced his commitment date on social media last week. His finalist schools heading into his Aug. 11 commitment date are the Auburn Tigers, South Carolina Gamecocks, Alabama Crimson Tide, Oregon Ducks, Ole Miss Rebels, and Texas.
