At what seems like the wrong time, the Texas basketball program gets to face the No. 1 ranked Baylor Bears trying to notch their 15th win of the regular season. Baylor is one of those two or three teams in the Big 12 that could legitimately contend for a national title this year. Arguably two teams from the Big 12 that could both be one-seeds in the NCAA Tournament are Baylor and the Kansas Jayhawks.
If Texas falls short on Feb. 10 against Baylor, then they will get swept in the season series by both the Bears and Jayhawks.
