The amount of success that head coach Shaka Smart found for his 2021 Texas basketball recruiting class during the 2020 calendar year was nothing shy of very impressive. Smart also found a high level of success for his 2020 recruiting class last year while working with limited room. He was able to get a commitment/signing from the elite five-star Vandegrift power forward and hometown product Greg Brown as the lone addition through his 2021 signing class.
The hope is that Smart and the Longhorns will translate last year’s high level of success on the recruiting trail for the 2020 and 2021 classes through to the 2022 cycle.
