At this point in time for the Texas baseball program, the wheels are falling off well before the end of the regular season or the Big 12 Tournament. Texas baseball started off its 2019 campaign in solid fashion against a very difficult season opening slate. There were numerous top 25 ranked teams on the slate in non-conference play at the outset of this regular season.
However, as soon as the running got easier for this Texas baseball team, the performance on the diamond really fell apart. Texas baseball wasn’t even able to grab one win in the pivotal weekend series in Big 12 play against the Oklahoma State Cowboys on the road.
