AUSTIN, Texas – On the heels of another historic week on the pitch, Texas' Lexi Missimo has been selected as the Big 12 Conference's Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday morning. The recognition is Missimo's third this season and fourth for her three-year career.
In two Texas victories last week, Missimo led the Big 12 in points (6), points per game (3.00), goals (3) and goals per game (1.50).
Missimo, who leads all NCAA Division I women's soccer with 50 total points on the season, recorded her fourth brace of the season in the Longhorns' 3-1 win at UCF on Thursday, Oct.
