Shaka Smart and the Texas Longhorns have made the cut for a pair of 5-star recruits in the 2021 cycle. Charles Bediako (St. Catharines, Ont.) and Daimion Collins (Atlanta) unveiled their top-10 lists last week with both naming Texas.
Bediako is currently ranked as the 20th-best prospect in the nation while Collins is right behind him at No. 22, according to 247 Sports.
Listed at 6’11 and 215 pounds, Bediako has played his high school basketball at Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby, Ohio, but will be transferring to IMG Academy for his senior season.
