AUSTIN, Texas – For the first time in history the IAAF will host a senior world championship event in the United States. This weekend seven current and former Texas Longhorns will fight for medals at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships from Portland, Oregon.
Two current Longhorns will represent their home countries as Courtney Okolo and Chrisann Gordon received special invitations to the meet. Okolo is listed among the relay pool for Team USA's 4x400 meter relay.
