RALEIGH, N.C. – Seniors Scottie Scheffler and Doug Ghim led No. 16 Texas Men's Golf to a first-place finish after two rounds at the NCAA Raleigh Regional at Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Tuesday.
Scheffler matched his low round of the season with a 6-under 65 after making seven birdies to only one bogey. His 65 followed a first-round 69 to put him at 8-under par for the tournament, in a tie for fourth.
Scheffler started his day with a flawless front nine, making birdies on holes two, four, seven and nine to make thee turn at 4-under par.
