The current No. 1 player in the world claims his second Green Jacket in the last three years.
AUGUSTA, Ga. — Former University of Texas star Scottie Scheffler fired a final-round 4-under-par 68 to post a four-stroke victory at the Masters Tournament on Sunday afternoon at historic Augusta National Golf Club. Scheffler recorded his second win at the Masters in the last three years, as he also claimed the Green Jacket in 2022.
Former University of Texas men's golfers have now recorded a total of 10 major championship victories, including a combined five Masters wins by three different players.
