WACO, Texas –Texas Rowing team competed in a scrimmage with the Chinese National Team on the Bravos River Saturday morning, completing a pair of sessions as the Longhorns prepare for the Spring campaign.
No official results were recorded; however, Longhorns head coach Dave O'Neill believes the team is on track heading into the season.
"It was a good morning for us; relative speed (with the Chinese team) is where we'd expect it to be," O'Neill said. "Chinese team head coach Hartmut Buschbacher said it was beneficial for them, and it was very beneficial for us.
