Texas RB Bijan Robinson and WR Xavier Worthy are on the watch list for college football’s Player of the Year award.
PHILADELPHIA – Texas junior RB Bijan Robinson and sophomore WR Xavier Worthy were named to the 2022 watch list for the Maxwell Award, the Maxwell Football Club announced on Monday. The Maxwell Award has been given to the College Player of the Year since 1937. Robinson was a semifinalist for the award last season, while Worthy was named to the watch list for the first time in his career.
Robinson is a third-year running back who has played in 19 games with 16 starts.
