ATLANTA – Texas junior RB Bijan Robinson was named to the Wuerffel Trophy watch list on Thursday. The Wuerffel Trophy is presented annually to the college football player that best combines exemplary community service with academic and athletic achievement. Lifetime Longhorn Sam Acho was honored with award in 2010.
Robinson has rushed for 1,830 yards on 281 carries (6.5 ypc) and 15 touchdowns, while also catching 41 passes for 491 yards and six touchdowns during his first two seasons on the Forty Acres. The junior's 1,830 career rushing yards rank 21st all-time in program history.
