The first possible candidate for the Texas Longhorns tight ends coach/special teams coordinator emerged on Thursday with a report from Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods that Kansas State Wildcats senior special teams analyst Sean Snyder interviewed for the position.
Since Thursday is the final day of the dead period prior to the final three recruiting weekends leading up to National Signing Day, head coach Tom Herman would surely like to fill the final two spots on his staff as quickly as possible, though he could keep one spot open to allow Director of Recruiting Bryan Carrington on the recruiting trail.
