Recruiting report card: WRs Collin Johnson, Lil'Jordan Humphrey lead Longhorns' solid 2016 class

With early signing period approaching, we looked back at the Longhorns' last four recruiting classes. Here's a look at the 2016 class.

Best player in the class

Collin Johnson, WR: Johnson gets the nod over his counterpart, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, simply because his 6-foot-6, 220-pound frame will have NFL scouts drooling just a little bit more. Johnson is nightmarish in one-on-one coverage, and his 177 receiving yards against Oklahoma on Dec. 1 set a Big 12 championship game record.

Most surprising player in the class

Lil'Jordan Humphrey, WR: Who would have thought the former Southlake Carroll running back would turn into one of the most dominant receivers in the Big 12?
