Two errors leading to three unearned runs and 14 runners left on base doomed the No. 4 Texas Longhorns on Saturday night at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in a 9-7 loss to the UTSA Roadrunners.
It was a sloppy performance by head coach Jim Schlossnagle’s team that will require the Longhorns to win three straight elimination games, including two on Sunday, in order to advance out of the Austin regional.
