Populous selected to design $175 Million South End Zone for The University of Texas

The renovation and expansion project is slated to break ground in the summer of 2019.

AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas announced architecture firm Populous as the designers of its Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium south end zone expansion and renovation, which aims to improve football training and game day offerings. The project will streamline football operations through a renovation to the Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center that includes enhanced and expanded student-athlete amenities and football coaches' offices as well as provide a multitude of new and unique fan experiences.

"This is a project we've had many discussions and meetings about over the past several months and we are thrilled to be in the final planning stages," said Chris Del Conte, University of Texas Vice President and Athletics Director.
