AUSTIN, Texas – Senior Paola Pineda won her third-straight platform title at the UT Diving Invitational on Saturday morning on the final day of competition.
Texas hosted LSU, Arizona, Utah, Stanford and Texas A&M for the three-day competition at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Pineda stole the show in the first platform competition for the Longhorns in the 2021-2022 season.
Pineda totaled 315.25 points for her third-straight title at home. Arizona and LSU took the next two spots in the event, while Chloe Bishop competed for the first time over the weekend to finish fourth with 268.
