IRVING, Texas — The pairings for the 2020 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship have been set, conference officials announced Saturday evening. Texas (19-12, 9-9 Big 12) is the No. 4 seed in the tournament and will open play in a quarterfinal-round contest against No. 5 seed Texas Tech (18-13, 9-9 Big 12) on Thursday, March 12 at 11:30 a.m. Central. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
Should Texas win its quarterfinal game, the Longhorns would advance to play in the semifinal round on Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m. Central on ESPN or ESPN2.
