AUSTIN, Texas – Bridget O'Neil earned her first Big 12 Diver of the Week award of the season on Wednesday after claiming the 1-meter event at the UT Diving Invitational.
Edging past Arizona's Delaney Schnell, O'Neil claimed her first event of the season with the win. The Southlake, Texas, native scored 327.50 points to take the event. She later went on to finish third in the 3-meter with a total of 372.20 points.
Wednesday's award is the first Big 12 Diver of the Week award for O'Neil this season and second in her career.
