With this week's news that Shane Buechele has entered the NCAA transfer portal and will explore transfer options, Buechele looks to be on track to be added to a long list of QBs that have signed with Texas but have not finished their college careers playing QB for the Longhorns.
When factoring in position changes, transfers, pending transfers, medical disqualifications and players being kicked off the team, only two of the last 19 QBs to sign with Texas have completed this feat.
Of the 19 QBs, 14 came in rated as either four- or five-star recruits.
