No. 9 Men's Track and Field qualify for eight more events to the NCAA Championships

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The No. 9 Texas men's track and field team ended the third day of the NCAA West Preliminaries by qualifying for eight events at the NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships in two weeks.

Freshman Jeremiah Nubbe will compete in his first NCAA Championships after qualifying for the discus with his heave of 56.86m (186-6). Nubbe's throw was the 11th-best throw of the competition, securing one of the top-12 spots needed to reach the championships.

Sophomore Sam Hurley closed out the field qualifiers for the Longhorns after finishing tied for fourth in the high jump.
