WACO, Texas – The No. 8/9 Texas track and field programs swept the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with the women dominating the field with 150 points and the men edging out Texas Tech 134 to 115 points.
The women's win marks the fifth-straight outdoor conference title and gives head coach Edrick Floréal five titles in five attempts. The five consecutive titles matches the longest streak of outdoor championships (men or women) in Big 12 history. The men have now won three outdoor titles under Floréal in five seasons and the Longhorns have totaled 49 Big 12 conference titles in total and 15 with coach Flo.
