SAN MARCOS, TX – Wednesday night was yet another example of Mac Morgan's brilliance in the pitching circle as the first-year Longhorn tossed a seven-inning complete game shutout in Texas' 4-0 at Texas State.
The pitching performance was the second consecutive complete game shutout for Morgan (12-2) following a five-inning outing at Iowa State on Thursday, April 6. Following Wednesday evening's game, Morgan has now thrown 12.0 consecutive scoreless innings, marking the longest scoreless inning streak for the Missouri native this season. Her previous longest streak in 2023 was eight innings from Feb. 19 against UIW to Feb.
