AUSTIN, Texas – No. 8 Texas Volleyball held off No. 17 Kansas for a 3-1 win, 25-17, 16-25, 25-18, 25-22, on Thursday at Gregory Gym.
The Longhorns (10-3, 5-0) and the Jayhawks will square off again on Friday at 7 p.m.
Madisen Skinner led the team with 18 kills and posted her third-straight double-double with 10 digs.
Molly Phillips had a big match, with a season-high 12 kills and a .360 hitting percentage. Asjia O'Neal also posted a season-high in kills with 11, while hitting .786, with five total blocks.
