AUSTIN, TX – After hurling 15.0 consecutive scoreless innings last week, Texas' Mac Morgan has been selected as the Big 12 Conference's Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Tuesday morning.
Morgan is the first Longhorn softball student-athlete to earn the recognition since Hailey Dolcini capped the 2022 regular season by earning the honor. She also becomes just the 13th different pitcher in the program's history to be selected as the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week.
Morgan, in her first year as a member of the Texas softball program, appeared in three games last week and tossed 15.
