DALLAS, Texas — The No. 7 University of Texas women's golf vaulted up the leaderboard in round two to take a three-shot lead after 36 holes at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup on Monday.
The Longhorns were the only team to complete 36 holes as play was suspended due to darkness. No. 6 South Carolina (11-15 holes in round two), No. 2 Stanford (15-18 holes) and No. 2 Wake Forest (15-18 holes) are tied for second place at 13-under par.
The Jackson T. Stephens Cup features five of the top six teams in the Golfweek rankings.
