Equal contribution from all the Texas Longhorn golfers led to a third-place finish in the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational (Forest Hills Golf Club) over the weekend.
Wake Forest and South Carolina nudged the Longhorns at the top of the leaderboard after a strong finish on Sunday from both teams. In large part to senior Cameron Young’s 19-under (-19) — who won individually by seven strokes, the No. 3 Demon Deacons took home the tournament trophy.
Senior Steven Chervony led the way for Texas, as he finished fourth individually after shooting eight-under par for the tournament.
