AUSTIN, Texas – No. 7 Texas Baseball crushed Stephen F. Austin, 13-2, on Tuesday night at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns (25-10, 5-4) will travel to Manhattan, Kan. this weekend for a series against Kansas State.
Ivan Melendez went 3-for-4 with two home runs, one double, five RBI and three runs scored. Melendez now has 16 homers this season, leading all Division I players.
Jack O'Dowd had a home run of his own, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBI. Ace Whitehead came off the bench and went 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
