On Sunday, the No. 6 Texas Longhorns opened as three-point favorites over the Oklahoma State Cowboys for next Saturday’s 7 p.m. Central contest in Stillwater on ABC.
Oklahoma State will be coming off of a bye week, just like Texas, and it’s safe to say it couldn’t have come at a more ideal time for either team.
Texas, of course, saw starting quarterback Sam Ehlinger sidelined during the opening drive against Baylor with what was later diagnosed as a Grade 1 AC sprain. However, Ehlinger is reportedly progressing well, and was scheduled to throw a football again for the first time since his injury on Sunday after throwing a Nerf football on Friday.
