AUSTIN, Texas – The list of awards keeps growing for Texas' Miranda Elish as the senior pitcher/utility player was honored for her incredible Texas Classic weekend effort by being chosen as the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division I National Player of the Week for Feb. 11.
This is the second time that Elish has reaped the NFCA's national weekly honor following her nod back on March 26, 2019. That came after a week that saw her toss her second career no-hitter while also managing a game-ending grand slam during an 11-0 (5 inn.) home triumph over Iowa State.
