TAMPA, Fla. — Freshman guard Jordan Lee posted a team-high 16 points, but No. 5/5 Texas dropped a 74-57 decision to No. 2/2 South Carolina (35-3) in a NCAA Tournament Final Four contest on Friday night in Amalie Arena. With the loss, the Longhorns conclude the 2024-25 season with a 35-4 record while making their fourth Final Four appearance in program history and first since 2003.
Lee came off the bench and converted 6-of-12 field goals, including 3-of-7 from three-point range, and 1-of-2 free throws in 27 minutes. Sophomore All-American Madison Booker added 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 FT) in 24 minutes, and senior Rori Harmon recorded eight points, seven rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes.
