AUSTIN, Texas – No. 5 Texas Volleyball's Madisen Skinner has been named the Big 12 Player of the Year, the league office announced Tuesday as part of the announcement of the 2022 All-Big 12 Volleyball awards.
Skinner is joined by Asjia O'Neal on the All-Big 12 First Team, while Ella Swindle landed on the All-Rookie team. The honors were selected by the league's head coaches, who are not permitted to vote for their own institution.
This marks the fourth consecutive season a Longhorn has been bestowed with the honor of player of the year, the sixth time in the last seven, the 13th in the last 15th years, and the 15th time overall.
