HOUSTON, Texas – The No. 4/7 Texas track and field program won eight events on Saturday at the Cameron Burrell Alumni Invitational.
Sophomore Jeremiah Nubbe won his second hammer throw event of the season with his throw of 70.49m (231-03). The throw is the second-furthest throw behind his own program record in school history. Grad transfer Luke Partridge finished third with a season-best throw of 58.66m, which moved him to No. 5 on the UT All-Time performer list.
Fellow grad transfer Cooper Tyler later won the men's javelin off his very first throw of 58.
